Four months ago in this News link we began writing cameos about individual tasks, starting from Task 1. This month we include Task 5, Make A Snake. We have also started a new section in the Iceberg Information link on the left so that past task cameos can be found more easily. Take a look and you will see the links to each of the tasks explored so far. Each month a new link will be added to this Task Cameo section.
Throughout the year, about every two weeks, students in Catherine La Franchi's Year 3 at St. Vincent de Paul School in Strathmore, Victoria, have been dressing up as mathematicians and coming to school to solve a problem together. They have signed the Mathematician's Code of Conduct and built a Working Mathematically community. Interested? Look in the Working Mathematically link on the left. They have prepared a fabulous presentation for us.
